Efarmz : Belgian farms on your plate in a click

www.efarmz.be is a new website that will allow city dwellers to buy organic produce from Belgian farms that practice environmentally friendly farming and produce food of great quality.

People from Brussels (we’re planning to grow to other Belgian cities in the future) who want to shop without leaving home can buy their food directly from the farm. The products on offer range from: meat from animals living in the open and growing at their natural rhythm to fruit and vegetables coming out of the earth and products such as organic bread and jam. For those who are in a hurry: ready-made dishes and ready-made baskets

Farmers that work with Efarmz are all rebels practicing organic or integrated farming and going against the trend in Belgian where most agriculture is very intensive. What these farmers do and their produce is described on the Efarmz website so that customers know exactly where their food is coming from. An example: Daniel Cloots started making cheeses 30 years ago “I wanted to have the pleasure of working with raw milk again”.

The visual aspect of the Efarmz website is very important, photos are taken of all the products throughout the different seasons. Customers get delivered at home, at work or at a delivery point near them.

Belgium has a rich culinary tradition and know-how, Efarmz brings them to our plates in a click.
