Unexplained BSE strain found in U.S. cases


According to news reports from the Associated Press and others, researchers at a conference in London last month stated that two cases of mad cow disease that were found in Texas and Alabama seem to have resulted from a unexplained strain that could appear spontaneously in cattle.
