Data collection for the identification of emerging risks related to food and feed

The European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) has started to develop an effective and transparent approach to identify emerging risks in the food and feed chain. This approach relies on three fundamental steps, namely 1) data collection 2) data analysis, signal detection and filtering, and 3) exchange of information.
