This new idea* is the special design with two "washing wings" connected to the main body of the unit. The name Dragon came about because the unit, consisting of a main body, wings and conveyor channel, looks like a dragon and because it will be FRUTIGER's main product for the Chinese market.

A truck arrives and activates the spraying system by triggering a sensor. A system of strategically placed nozzles washes the wheels as the truck is driven slowly through the unit. The washing water flows through the main body of the unit and the dirty water is carried out by an automatic conveyor system. All water flows through a closed circuit and is recycled for the next washing cycle.
FRUTIGER Baumaschinen, based in Switzerland, is the leading manufacturer of wheel washing systems with a worldwide sales network. The "MobyDick Dragon" is the latest addition to the MobyDick range of wheel washing systems. It is designed to cope with up to 100 trucks per day in anything up to medium soiled condition. Because of the new design (pat pending), the unit is ideally suited to construction sites, smaller quarries and recycling plants. With a washing zone length of 330 cm, the wheels make one full turn as the truck is driven through the machine. The result is clean public roads! The system is simple, quick and cheap to install which makes it the ideal model for short-term applications. FRUTIGER will be integrating the Dragon into the rental fleet, bringing rental prices down.
The new design makes for very low manufacturing costs, which means that smaller construction sites as well as recycling plants can afford a fully functional wheel washing system. The Dragon will help to keep public roads clear of dirt and dust. This is a positive step for the environment, a construction firm's image and safety on the roads.
