The firm said the vehicles would be powered by Cummins turbo-charged diesel engines that generate 99 hpr and 305 ft.-lb. of torque. It has an increased SAE rated load capacity of 3,850 lb and also delivers an unmatched bucket breakout force of 8,340 lb.
Other features include vertical-lift linkage, which provides consistent forward reach throughout the entire lift cycle and a lift height of nearly 12 feet.
A two-speed drive is available on the skid loaders, which offers ground speeds up to 12.5 mph. The 55-inch wheelbase, combined with the optional Hydraglide ride control system, with a special lift arm suspension system that allows the lift arm to "float," provides a smoother ride at faster ground speeds, said Gehl.
