More net product in the truck
With the Field Loader 240, growers drastically reduce the amount of soil and waste that accompanies the product during loading in the field. This is because tipping trailers can unload the product directly into the transfer combi for cleaning before it is loaded into a truck. With this machine, transport vehicles are optimally filled with net product, and the chance of price deductions when delivering potatoes from the field directly to the factory is drastically reduced.
Suitable for on-road use
The Field Loader 240 is a compact transfer combi suitable for road transport. The optional steered axle also makes the machine extra manoeuvrable (20°). In the field it takes just a few minutes to prepare the machine for use. The Field Loader 240 is equipped with five sturdy hydraulic support feet, which provide the required stability. The integrated, widely pivoting waste conveyor is also easy to fold out to the desired position. This makes it possible to discharge sieved-out soil or waste to a central location alongside the machine.
High cleaning capacity
The bunker floor and the roller unit, familiar from the renowned MH series, ensure a good product flow and provide the necessary cleaning. The ten cleaning rollers provide a large cleaning capacity. The opening between the rollers is also electrically adjustable. The optional Smart-Pin ensures that the cleaning occurs at a constant capacity. The inspection table has space for two people.
Handy, product-friendly discharge elevator
The wide, 4-piece, product-friendly discharge elevator of the Field Loader 240 has an extremely wide pivot range of 120° (60 left + 60 right) and can reach deep into a truck. Active side plates and soft flights prevent product damage. If the discharge elevator is placed at too steep an angle, the entire transfer combi automatically switches off to prevent falling product. The large drive pulleys at the top of the discharge elevator ensure quick unloading in all conditions. Moreover, the discharge elevator features extra robust construction to ensure exceptional durability and reliability.
A true stand-alone transfer combi
With the optional built-in diesel generator the Field Loader 240 can be used anywhere. The super-silent generator (80 dB max.) can also be detached so it can be used for other purposes. In addition, the Field Loader 240 can also simply be connected to mains power. The Field Loader 240, like all other Dewulf storage machines, offers best-in-class low power consumption.
Official launch
Dewulf will present the Field Loader 240 to the general public for the first time during the Aardappeldemodag ('potato demo day') on Wednesday 22 August 2018 in Westmaas (The Netherlands). Interested parties can see Dewulf's transfer combi and many other of the manufacturer’s machines at stand 148.
