Green Mind University
Greenfish, a Belgian consulting firm specialising in the B2B offers of sustainable and innovative solutions, in partnership with InnoEnergy, the Tweed Cluster, WBI, The Shift and GreenWin, has launch the second edition of the Green Mind University on sustainable development this Tuesday May 22, 2018 at La Tricoterie in Brussels.
For this second edition, different opinion leaders and specialists from the private and public sectors, as well as from the academic world, came to share and exchange their views on sustainable development and innovation issues organised around five themes: the circular economy, the bio-economy, the future of mobility, smart cities and energy storage.

Greenfish had the honour to host players in the field such as Andreea Strachinescu, Head of Unit of DG Energy of the European Commission, with a conference about the development of smart cities and Damien Ernst, professor at the University of Liège, with an intervention about Uber-likes models for the electrical industry. The rest of the day was animated by professors from the TUFTS University in Boston, ULB, and VUB, but also representatives of companies such as Engie, Trinomics, or Greentown Labs in the USA. Also, pitching sessions by Belgian sustainable start-ups will be organised in front of InnoEnergy, a green start-ups incubator.
In organizing the Green Mind University at La Tricoterie, Greenfish played also a role in the site’s ecological footprint by financially participating in the placement of photovoltaic panels within a sustainable development approach.
Greenfish has use this opportunity to present the Green Mind Community, an online platform that encourages the exchange of knowledge and information on sustainability. The goal is to unite the "greentech" community in a virtual ecosystem that will generate innovative ideas and projects for a more sustainable industry.
