Agritechnica 2015: 73. Internationale Tagung LAND.TECHNIK – AgEng 2015


On 6th and 7th November, 2015 VDI Wissensforum will perform the 73rd International Conference LAND.TECHNIK – AgEng 2015 at Hannover, Germany. This conference takes place every two years as a kick-off Conference of AGRITECHNICA, the agricultural machinery fair. Under the headline “Innovations in Agricultural Engineering for Efficient Farming” the International Conference is mottosed to current developments in agricultural engineering and latest research findings.

Due to the close cooperation between the Technical Division VDI Max Eyth Society for Agricultural Engineering (VDI-MEG) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng), the International Conference has developed into the leading event of her type.
The programme with 75 contributions from industry and research partners will present current developments and research of tractors, power train, electric drives and mobile hydraulics, electronic components, sensor systems and automation. Additional topics covered by the Conference are navigation, soil protection and tillage, crop protection and harvesting technology, precision farming, production of bioenergy and industrial product development.
In a plenary lecture, Hubertus Paetow from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will introduce the requirements of agricultural engineering from the viewpoint of the farming. At the end of the Conference, Prof. h.c. Martin H. Richenhagen, CEO of AGCO Corporation, will present 25 years  development of the global enterprise.

Chairman of the programme committee is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Henning J. Meyer, Head of the Department for Construction and Machine Systems of the Technical University of Berlin. The Conference language is English.
