PotatoEurope 2015: programme, equipment demonstration and ground plan
Every four years PotatoEurope is organised in one of the four main potato producing countries. After France, the Netherlands and Germany in the past years Belgium will be hosting this major open-air potato event in 2015 again.
On 2 and 3 September 2015 the entire potato chain will be covered again in Kain, near Tournai/Doornik. Professional visitors will be able to talk to experts about any questions and problems they have related to potato growing, materials, processing and so on.
The main attraction in Belgium however, in addition to an extensive exhibition where the entire potato chain is represented, will be the demo of potato harvesters and storing lines. The information will be further supplemented with an extensive trial field presentation and workshop sessions.

Equipment demonstration
At PotatoEurope, 14 harvesters from 6 different brands will be put into action. There will be 5 self-propelled 4-row harvesters, 8 2-row harvesters (including one self-propelled and one wagon harvester). Please find an overview below.
The demonstrations will follow a strict schedule.
Storage will be demonstrated with 5 storage lines from the brands AVR, Dewulf-Miedema, Downs, Grimme and Bijlsma Hercules. Three of them will also introduce their equipment for handling crates.
