Niagri celebrates 100th Dewulf Sale in the UK

Dewulf, specialist in harvesting technology of potatoes and carrots, has made its 100th harvester sale in the UK, thanks to its dealer Niagri Engineering. Niagri celebrated with cake and drinks with their workers to mark the occasion.

Niagri is a well-known name in the UK and has built up an excellent reputation for providing a personal approach and service to their customers. Niagri have heavily invested in promoting the Dewulf brand in the UK which has enabled a steady growth, resulting in the sale of the 100th harvester.

Established in 1997, Niagri Engineering started out producing bespoke machinery for the farming industry from its factory in Lakenheath, Suffolk. In 2001, they were appointed by Dewulf as sole dealer for the UK. They introduced the Dewulf brand into the UK market and the R3060, 2-row self-propelled potato harvester is one of their bestselling machines. Thanks to its tested and proven technology, the harvester does an excellent job despite the difficult and wet conditions sometimes found in the UK. Niagri also offer UK specific options to enable the machines to excel in different soil and weather conditions enabling owners to get the very best output from their harvester. The R3060 can also harvest other root crops as well as flower bulbs utilising interchangeable harvest units and these are markets Niagri are actively targeting.

With a proactive service division Niagri helps Dewulf owners ensure that their harvesters are ready for the season and are always available to cover any unforeseen issues during those critical harvest weeks.

With the expansion of both the manufacturing side of the business and the growing Dewulf dealership, Niagri began to outgrow their premises at Lakenheath and in 2012, they purchased the assets of Everett Bros Engineering. Niagri Engineering has now moved all of their operations to the larger site in Hockwold, Norfolk enabling them to prepare the business for further growth. This site includes a large area where their stock of pre-owned harvesters can be viewed by prospective customers, bespoke servicing facilities as well as spacious offices and warehousing for the Dewulf and manufacturing arms of the business.
