CEMA - Bayer Farm Visit on "Precision Farming for Smart and Sustainable Agriculture"


The European Agricultural Machinery Association CEMA and Bayer CropScience are pleased to invite you to their first joint Farm Visit on “Precision Farming for Smart and Sustainable Agriculture" on 29 & 30 June 2015. This unique event will feature in-field demonstrations of equipment and technologies used by farmers to produce food sustainably and competitively.

In order to learn more about the role of precision farming for sustainable productivity growth in agriculture, please join us on Monday, 29 June 2015: 12:15 – 18:30 or Tuesday, 30 June 2015: 12:15 – 18:30 at Hof ten Bosch” in Huldenberg near Brussels (transport will be arranged from and to Place Luxembourg)

What is it about?
• Modern production techniques – that deliver high yields, protect biodiversity, control pests, increase beneficial insects and pollinators and reduce erosion
• Precision agricultural machinery – intelligent tractors, seeding machines, sprayers, cabin and driving simulators
• Digital Farming – GPS technology and Precision Land Management telematics systems
 
Where it will take place?
“Hof ten Bosch” in Huldenberg near Brussels (20-30 minutes transfer). We will arrange transport from and to Place Luxembourg. The visit will take approximately 4 hours and will also include a BBQ, giving you plenty of time to digest the impressions of the day, ask further questions, discuss with the farmers and experts from Bayer, CEMA and other participating companies, or simply enjoy the country side.
