Report on agriculture in the EU: 2013 issue published with latest figures

There are around 12 million farms in the EU while agriculture (vegetables, meat, potatoes, rice, ...) represents 5.2% of employment in the EU, with big variations across Member States.
These are among the statistics presented in the Agriculture in the European Union: statistical and economic information report published today by the European Commission, an annual publication covering agriculture-related topics in EU Member States and acceding and candidate countries.
