A strong EU agriculture sector is vital for growth and jobs, for the economy, for the environment, and quality food supplies, the manifesto states. Research and innovation needs to be boosted and the food chain (vegetables, potatoes, fruit, ...) must work better so that farmers can get a better return from the market. Trade agreements must also be fair and balanced and imports should meet the same standards as those required in the EU.
The magazine includes interviews with leading politicians and experts, including MEPs, Copa and Cogeca Presidents, EU Farm Commissioner Ciolos and the Greek Agriculture Minister. Please see a copy of the magazine and manifesto and see our website for details and copies of the magazine and manifesto.
