CEJA Welcomes EU Ministers Decision on CAP Delegated Acts

CEJA welcomes the decision of the EU Agriculture Ministers yesterday in Luxembourg on the set of Delegated Acts.

CEJA remained a strong supporter of a prompt adoption of Delegated Acts and the decision will finally bring a much needed certainty to farmers for 2015 while national administrations can now proceed to implementing all the mechanisms of the reformed CAP.

The approval of the Delegated Acts by the Council means that all young farmer elements of the reform and particularly the young farmer top-up of Pillar I can now be at last put in place.
ENDS

CEJA represents the political interests of around two million young farmers from across Europe. Its main objectives are to facilitate the installation of young farmers, to inform and to train them as well as act as a forum
