Biofach 2015: The Netherlands is Country of the Year
The organic sector is growing – in the Netherlands too. Forecasts assume that this trend will increase. The Netherlands has offered a broad spectrum of organically produced products for many years and these are also presented at BIOFACH.

With 85 exhibitors it is already one of the top 5 at the World’s leading Trade Fair for Organic Food. The Dutch government is very interested in actively supporting sustainable agricultural production, which is why Agriculture Minister Sharon Dijksma visited this year’s BIOFACH to gather information on the latest international developments in the organic sector.
During her visit to the exhibition she signed the contract for the Netherlands as Country of the Year at BIOFACH 2015, which takes place in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 11–14 February 2015.
