Agritechnica 2013: High-level seminar dedicated to Systems and Components

Systems and Components, Agritechnica’s dedicated segment for spare parts, modules and accessories for the agri-machinery and related sectors, continues to see a surge in interest at every editor.

At the last Agritechnica 2011, over 700 suppliers exhibited at Systems and Components, with over 70,000 visitors from around the world making a dedicated effort to learn more about the latest products, services and opportunities in this important segment.

This year, Systems and Components will be accompanied by its own high-level education seminar under the theme “OEM Suppliers: Challenges for the future”. The week-long forum, to be held from 10 to 15 November, will highlight some of the most current developments in topics such as “supply chain management” and “integrated demand capacity management”, with discussions focused on identifying trends and strategies for the future. All presentations will be in English only.

Efficiency is a key prerequisite for machineries and systems. At the forum, speakers will address the efficiency of tyres, low emissions and fuel efficiency, energy saving solutions, and efficient drive line solutions. Other important topics to be covered at the forum include synchronisation between suppliers and automotive manufacturers, the human-machinery interface and engine upgrades. Machinery disassembly demonstrations and follow-up discussions will be held at least four times daily at the forum.

Forum Systems and Components is organised by the DLG, the German Agricultural Society and organisers of Agritechnica, and partnered by VDMA (German Engineering Association) Power Transmission Engineering, VDMA Fluid Power and VDI Agricultural Engineering.

The full forum programme is available on the Agritechnica website and http://www.agritechnica.com/uploads/media/Forum-SC_01.pdf
