How to make European agriculture more productive, efficient and sustainable


As Europe’s farmers continue to be confronted with increasing economic and environmental challenges, innovation and research are of vital importance for the agriculture sector to remain competitive.
That’s the main finding of a workshop held in Brussels on 25 September 2013 and jointly organised by ECPA, COPA-COGECA, Fertiliser Europe, ESA and CEMA. More than 100 participants, including farmers, industry, MEPs, European Commission and Council Representatives and other stakeholders, took part in the discussion.
