AVR delivers its first new crop handling machines

AVR is a leading supplier of agricultural machines, specializing in potato cultivation mechanization.

Since spring of this year, crop handling technology has been added to our line-up following the acquisition of Climax International B.V. With this extension of the product range, AVR becomes a full liner, from soil preparation and potato planting, harvesting up to crop handling.

During the past weeks, the first series of reception hoppers, twin conveyors, telescopic conveyors and other machines have found their way to our clients. In the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and beyond, the new AVR crop handling machines are successfully being deployed for crop handling.

During the past few months, a lot of work has been done, and we are proud of the issuing results. New crop handling machines are being produced at full capacity and new developments are under way.

The aim of these innovations is getting the best price for your potatoes while at the same time using fewer resources. Automation, ease of use and efficiency are the key factors to obtaining this objective. In order to make these factors a reality, different plans have been drawn up which will be implemented in the years to come. The future modular construction of the machines entails that these will be fully adaptable to the end user’s wishes. In short, made-to-measure using standardized components.
