Copa-Cogeca rejects MEPs vote to impose 5.5% limit on use of biofuels from arable crops


Copa-Cogeca rejected today European Parliament’s Environment Committee vote to impose a 5,5% limit on the use of biofuels made from arable crops in 2020, warning it not only threatens the future of the EU biofuel industry but also feed supplies for animals and runs counter to the EU 2020 Strategy for Growth and Employment and for Climate and Energy targets.
