BIOFACH and VIVANESS show continuity in the specialist retail trade and international growth in 2013

The international organic sector gathered again in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg two months ago at BIOFACH and VIVANESS – their annual highlight in the exhibition calendar. 41,794* trade visitors from 126 countries were delighted with the customary high-quality, varied and innovative products from the 2,413 exhibitors, 207 of them at VIVANESS. Two trends stand out in the exhibition analysis: Some 6,000 specialist retailers (category: retail trade, organic food & health food) came to the world’s leading exhibition again in 2013, which corresponds to 16 % of the buyers. The international share of total attendance rose from 41 to 44 %.
