“At New Holland we have included the very best technology from our complete range of agricultural machinery and incorporated it on the most compact members of our tractor family: the new Boomer and upgraded Boomer 3000 ranges.” Stated Luca Mainardi, Head of Tractor and PLM Product Management.

“Thanks to the perfect combination of superior operator comfort and wide variety of specifications such as precision speed control, these two ranges will appeal to municipal operations, private estates and sports facilities alike.”

These two ranges form part of New Holland’s all-encompassing compact tractor offering, including the T3000, T4 PowerStar and T5 tractor series, which are perfect for large-scale operations and can be specified with tyres suitable for turf care management.

Outstanding operator comfort: rugged ROPS and class-leading Super Suite Cab

New Holland knows that a touch of comfort makes long working days fly by, and the Boomer 20-50 range is a case in point. The spacious ROPS platform features colour coded controls to facilitate ease of use, especially when working at dusk or in poor light conditions. The uncluttered platform combined with a fully adjustable seat mean that operators of all shapes and sizes will be able to get comfortable.

The Boomer 3000 range features the industry-leading Super Suite™ Cab for truly luxurious operation. Advanced heating and air conditioning controls mean that operators can enjoy exceptional comfort 365 days a year. From the natural driving position, the high visibility roof hatch offers a clear view of a front loader (when fitted) throughout the entire lift cycle, reducing fatigue. A full range of work lights provide powerful illumination when working in dark corners. A 12 volt power outlet enables operators to charge their mobile telephone or listen to their favourite songs on an MP3 player of their choice. A conveniently positioned cup-holder, coat hanger and sound supressing floor mat and headliner all combine to deliver a business-class operating environment.

Tailored transmission offering: hydrostatic, mechanical and continuously variable EasyDrive™ options are available

Owners will be able to tailor their Boomer’s transmission to suit their individual needs. The Boomer 20 and 25 models are available with a two range hydrostatic transmission and Boomer 30, 35, 40 and 50 models can be equipped with a three range variant. These transmissions offer jump on and go simplicity together with outstanding manoeuvrability when mowing, for example, thanks to the single rocker pedal forward and reverse shuttling system. Operators do not need to take their hand off the wheel to shuttle, further enhancing safety. Furthermore, they offer luxury ‘cruise control’ functionality for even easier operation.

Boomer 30 and 35 models are available with a 12x12 mechanical transmission and the range topping Boomer 40 and 50 models can be specified with a 16x16 variant. These options will become the default choice for all operations as they effortlessly transfer power to the ground to ensure ultimate efficiency in all operating conditions.

Boomer 20 and 25 (Class 1 Compacts): 2 speed hydrostatic transmission
Boomer 30 and 35 (Class 2 Compacts):  12 x 12 mechanical transmission with a synchronised shuttle or with a 3 speed  hydrostatic transmission
Boomer 40 and 50 (Class 3 Compacts): 16 x 16 mechanical transmission with a synchronised shuttle or with a 3 speed  hydrostatic transmission

Boomer 3000 models boast the award-winning EasyDrive™ continuously variable transmission. Unique in the segment, this transmission has brought big-tractor ease of operation to the Boomer range. The chain belt drive enables infinite speed adjustment up to 30kph. This allows operators to precisely adjust their speed to the task in hand, whilst reducing in-cab noise and enhancing operator comfort. Braking is smooth and steady and automotive-style cruise control enables operators to maintain, fine tune or resume working speeds. Furthermore, an advanced reactivity setting means operators can adjust acceleration and deceleration to suit their individual driving style or application.

Unsurpassed operating efficiency: efficient engines, extensive PTO offering and patented New Holland features

The Boomer 20-50 range features punchy three and four cylinder diesel engines, and the Boomer 3000 range is fitted with responsive four cylinder diesel engines. Both of which offer outstanding fuel efficiency and response. Four wheel drive is available on both ranges, with electronic engagement on the Boomer 3000, to ensure that operators are able to maintain performance in the most slippery conditions. The six Boomer 20-50 models also feature a handy, foot-operated diff lock for the harshest conditions.

Working PTO mounted implements, such as rear and mid-mounted mowers has never been easier. The Boomer 20-50 range offers two options, 540 and mid-mounts whilst the Boomer 3000 range features a top package with 540, and mid-mount options all available. Electro-hydraulic PTO engagement further enhances operator comfort. The sturdy, category one, rear linkage is fully compatible with the most frequently used implements.

Exactly what it says on the bonnet

New Holland has applied its evolved numbering strategy to both Boomer tractor ranges to make their performance immediately obvious to customers. The heritage ‘Boomer’ name clearly identifies it within the groundcare segment. The following numbers, 20-50 denote the maximum horsepower rounded to the nearest five.

Boomer 35 38 24.8 820
Boomer 40 41 24.4 1250
Boomer 50 47 24.4 1250
