Bayer CropScience and Mother Dairy support Indian farmers
Within the framework of Food Chain Partnership, Bayer CropScience Ltd. and Mother Dairy Fruits and Vegetables Private Ltd. started working together for improving vegetable production in India. The first project was launched in 2012 with about 900 growers of gherkins and tomatoes in the state of Karnataka. A sustainable crop development program implemented resulted in increased yields, high-quality produce as well as in higher income. To cover more fruits and vegetable crops such as banana, mango and cauliflower, Bayer CropScience and Mother Dairy plan to expand this successful Food Chain Partnership project.

The Asia Fruit Logistica is the only annual international trade exhibition for fresh fruit and vegetable marketing in Asia which focuses exclusively on the fresh produce sector and related value chain for the whole Asian region. Exhibitors from different countries present an overview of the fruits and vegetables market. This important trade show takes place together with the Asiafruit Congress and combines the experience of Fruit Logistica, the world’s leading fresh produce exhibition, with Asia’s top international conference event.
