Copa-Cogeca welcomes firts estimates from Eurostat showing 2011 EU farm income rise


Copa-Cogeca welcomed today first estimates from Eurostat showing EU farm incomes rose on average by 6.7% in real terms this year, compared to 2010, driven by the favourable price developments in the cereals sector in the first half of the year. But Copa-Cogeca warned that these are only preliminary estimates and could change as they do fully reflect the recent drop in grain prices.
