Agritechnica 2011: Where to find what
The world’s largest farm machinery event has spread out even more this year. Six more halls have been added, meaning that the best of agricultural machinery, technology and new ideas from around the world will now be presented in 24 large-capacity buildings on the Exhibition Grounds at Hanover.

Optimised exhibition layout
Agritechnica organiser DLG is always working to provide visitors with the best possible opportunity to see more, learn more and discuss more at the event. The key to this is the exhibition layout, which has been developed for ease of access and optimum use of time, while making new space available in the busy areas for a relaxed atmosphere. travel from hall to hall is also aided by the successful shuttle bus service.
Layout changes this year include an extra three halls for tractors, with halls 6, 8 and 19 joining halls 3, 4, 5, 9 and 13 used in 2009. Among the other areas that have expanded are forage choppers and sowing technology, which get an extra hall each, and forage harvesting with two extra halls
Clear picture signposting
Agritechnica’s system of easily understandable pictorial signs will once again make it easy for visitors to decide the route they need to take around Agritechnica 2011. And just to keep everything as easy as possible, hall maps and entry points will use English and Russian as well as German to ensure there’s little chance of getting lost.
