ECA issues special reportt on whether agri-environment support policy is well designed and managed
Agri-environment support is a key EU policy with € 2.5 billion of EU spending per year. The policy aims to respond to society's increasing demand for environmental services by encouraging farmers and other land managers to introduce or continue to apply agricultural production methods compatible with the protection and improvement of the environment.. Management of this policy is shared by the Commission and the Member States.
