UE–Georgia agreement on protection of Geographical Indications

On 14 July 2011, the EU and Georgia signed an agreement on the protection of Geographical Indications – the first such agreement with a country which is part of the Neighbourhood Policy. The EU was represented by the Polish Presidency and the European Commission.
