CAP: Commission launches a call for tenders for a pilot project on "Assessing farmers' costs

The purpose of the pilot project is to analyse the costs of compliance with environmental, animal welfare and food safety legislation for both EU and third country farmers, to compare the situation between the EU and main trading partner countries and to draw conclusions with respect to the impact on the competitiveness of EU agriculture.
