Conference on 10 May concentrates on engine emissions legislation

The 2011 Institution of Agricultural Engineers Conference, to be held on 10 May, will focus on fothcoming off-road diesel engine emissions legislation. It will also cover the impact of Stage IIIB (Interim tier 4) and Stage IV (Final tier 4) on engine manufacturers, fuel and oil suppliers, equipment manufacturers, servicing dealers and end users



Taking place at Cranfield University, Bedford, the conference is aimed at anyone wanting to understand more about the installation of engines into whole machines, transmission integration, filtration issues (air and fuel), fuel supply and storage.

The conference will feature speakers from across the industry and will cover the impact this legislation will have on:

• Future trends in diesel engine design

• Users (fuel, lubricant and fuel systems, fuel specification (low sulphur for off-road use) and storage issues)
