CEJA calls for dairy sector transition period to 2015

A transitional period to allow dairy producers to prepare for the abolishment of the milk quota system in 2015 should be established to guarantee a smooth soft landing for each Member State in Europe according to CEJA’s reaction on the milk package published today. The transition period should take the form of a gradual increase in the quota and a total phase-out of the super levy by 2013.
