EU Commission to take action to improve drastic situation in fruit and vegetables sector
Copa-Cogeca called on the EU Commission today to urgently improve crisis management and prevention measures in the EU fruit and vegetables sector, warning that the sector is in crisis, with a sharp fall in the value of EU fruit production of 12.7% seen in 2009.
