Member States deliver no opinion in Standing Committee on proposals for the authorisation of 4 GMOs

The Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health today returned no definitive opinion either for or against Commission proposals to authorise 3 genetically modified maize varieties (for food and feed, import and processing) and a GM potato (for feed and adventitious presence in food and feed).As a result, the Commission must now transmit the dossiers to Council.
