FS4JK will use the donated funds to strengthen and expand their chapter network of volunteers and fund a new machinery safety puppet show and tractor safety educational packet. "Our corporate sponsors make it possible for us to create new programs and reach more children every year with important messages about farm safety," said Marilyn Adams, founder of FS4JK. "As a non-profit organization, we are so appreciative of their generosity and support."
FS4JK relies on corporate funding from ag businesses like John Deere & Company to develop up-to-date farm safety and health resources and sustain the grassroots volunteer program. Since 1987, FS4JK has grown to include a network of nearly 130 volunteer chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Millions of children, youth and farm families have attended FS4JK events.
