Farmer Plans To Open First Crocodile Farm In Britain

(AHN) Andy Johnson, 36, whose farm is near Cambridge, is planning to open the first crocodile farm in Britain, as he has imported eight Nile crocodiles, each around eight feet long.

He hopes to establish a fully working crocodile farm, as he thinks the demand of crocodile meat will grow in the next few years.

According to the Telegraph, Johnson said, "I've been in farming since about 1986 and I think this is a business that has potential."

"As far as we know we're the only ones commercially looking at farming crocodiles in the UK, maybe Europe," he added.
