The Company's manufacturing partner sold 1,680 Ultra-Glo units to Smirnoff in Australia, 1,280 units to Heineken and 1,000 units to the Presidents Club in Taiwan.
Ultra-Glo is a state of the art L.E.D. replacement technology for the worldwide retail fluorescent light box market. Neutron has worldwide rights to Ultra-Glo, co-developed with its partners in Shanghai, China.
"We are pleased that two more leading companies, Heineken and Smirnoff, have selected Ultra-Glo to enhance their marketing efforts," stated G. Michael Singh, NTRN's Global Director of Sales. "While we have many pilot tests occurring with a number of the leading consumer product companies, this purchase is significant as it represents commercial sales of the product. Companies are increasingly recognizing the ability of Ultra-Glo to transform a mundane light box, which has been used by retailers to market products for years, into an eye-catching marketing vehicle using our proprietary L.E.D. technology. Tests have repeatedly demonstrated that the payback on consumer product companies' investment is quick, which is why there is such a significant opportunity for the Company in this market, which is estimated to be as large as $1 billion in annual sales."
Neutron's Shanghai facility recently expanded its manufacturing in anticipation of Fortune 500 customers expected to utilize the Ultra-Glo technology. HSBC recently selected Ultra-Glo's technology for a pilot test in Asia.
