Cadbury Dairy Milk to complete the treat in-store

Cadbury has introduced a Treatsized version of Cadbury Dairy Milk into the the £96m treat-size confectionery market.

Cadbury Trebor Bassett says that the introduction of the new product will further increase sales not only by appealing to a wide range of consumers, but also by boosting sales of other single variant Treatsize packs, which currently include Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel, Bubbly, Flake, Twirl, Buttons and Crunchie.

New shelf ready packaging (SRP) for the whole Cadbury Treatsize range will enable retailers to improve display and make it easier for the shopper.

Mike Tipping, Head of Customer Relations for Cadbury Trebor Bassett, said, "One in five people in the UK bought a Treatsize pack last year but there is still massive profit potential for this sector".

"Treatsize shoppers are predominantly mums shopping for their families and Cadbury Dairy Milk will have huge appeal - in the small portions they prefer in the home. And for retailers, it will deliver excellent cash rate of sale, making additional profits for retailers and driving growth within the Treatsize sector."

Cadbury Dairy Milk Treatsize are available from 1 February 2006.
