Deere Starts Production of Compact Tractors in Georgia and Redesigned UTV in Wisconsin

Deere & Co. announced today that it began production of a new range of small-chassis farm tractors at a plant in Georgia in late 2005. The company also said that it launched production of a redesigned Gator Compact Series utility-type vehicles during the fourth quarter of last year at a plant in Wisconsin.
